As you may recall from our last post, this past summer was incredibly busy for the band. It looks like fall will be more of the same, except in a few new settings.
Last Saturday night the band played to a big crowd at Park Lane Tavern. Now, this isn’t the first time the Onion’s played there, but it was the first for this particular incarnation of the band. It’s a logical fit, though, don’t you agree? British pub…band plays lots of Beatles songs (and one or two from those other British bands). Anyway, back there October 26. And December 28.
We also landed at Buffalo Mo’s in North Stafford and had such a great time there that we decided to make it a habit. We’ll be there the first Friday of the month for the rest of the year (except December) and into next year.
This weekend we’re headed to Water’s End Brewery in Lake Ridge to help them celebrate their three-year anniversary. There will be a few guest breweries, barbecue, an outdoor beer garden, games, and of course live music. It’s our first time there and we’re really looking forward to it.
From there we venture a little further north and west to Manassas and Sinistral Brewing in November. The staff there is really outstanding (thank you, Stacey!) and it’s a perfect setting for Beatles Night. Also really excited for that show.
Amidst all that, Fredericksburg of course remains home. We’re at Colonial Tavern every first Thursday, at La Petite Auberge every third Friday, and unplugged at 25-30 Espresso every last Thursday through year-end.
On behalf of all these great venues we invite you to join us at your favorite spot in town or venture out a little and try a new place with us.
